First of all, I want to let any of you in Pittsburgh know about an upcoming event I’m doing here in Oakmont with Sisters In Crime. It’s February 1, 2020, and it’s on Time Management and Writing. You can find out more and book your ticket, here!

I’m working on a new essay for Medium, but you can read my last one (and click through to find the rest of my work for them), here. It’s got awesome artwork by Jeffrey Fletcher, and it’s about ONLINE DATING (which is a shitshow, kids!).

Right now, I’m reading the sequel to THE BEAR AND THE NIGHTINGALE (which I’ve assigned my EL 155 students) THE GIRL IN THE TOWER. I’m enjoying it! To see what else I’ve assigned my students (insta reading list people!) click here.

Other than that, I’m mostly furiously gearing up for teaching. What are you up to?
