March Newsletter: Some IDE(a)S for you!

Hey babes. I hope you are hanging in there. There’s a lot going on in the world to get you down. And it’s not yet spring! January and February had a lot of bad weather here in Pittsburgh, and so far March has been all over the place. I lived in the UK for way too long not to be obsessed with weather, especially bad weather, so I’m an endless fount of whining when it’s snowy and icy and cold. I try to remind myself I could live in Minnesota, or Quebec, but it doesn’t matter.
I hate winter.
But I do love lots of things!
Here’s a show that gave me all the feels:
Somebody, Somewhere! I loved it so, so, so, so, so, so much. It’s like a warm hug, even though it’s also really sad and real.
Here’s a writer that rocks my world:
Alexis Hall! He writes queer romance and we read his Boyfriend Material for residency and I have since read almost every book he’s written. His Spires Series is filthy and perfect. It starts here. Enjoy.
Here’s a podcast you might need:
I love Kara Lowentheil’s podcast. she’s always selling her Clutch community or workshops, but if you FF through those parts, her shit is amazing. This episode is a great representation for why she’s so good for people identified/identifying as female.
As for my writing, I’m working on a new series that I’ll either trad pub or self pub, depending on what the industry/market is doing when I’m finished. Everything is so crazy right now in publishing, but we all have options. And I’m loving writing the books! They’re tres fun! I’ll keep you posted as things develop.
Meanwhile, here’s a blast from the past(a): Why I No Longer Care About Being a Domestic Goddess. Please and enjoy and share!
