Recently, I started learning about Stoicism - because of the most patient, solid person I know. I’d notice him sharing quotes, on FB & Twitter, and they just made sense - they spoke to me. Then he shared dailystoic.com and I took a peek, was intrigued, and signed up for their short daily newsletter. Now I know how Nicholas became the steady, thoughtful man he is. I’m reading the daily meditations (almost daily!) and trying to learn these lessons. If nothing else comes from this lockdown time, at least it gave me a quieter time to improve my thinking and attitude. I’m good with that.
